ALGIERS: Algeria’s largest Islamist Nahda Movement announced it will boycott the planned presidential elections, citing fears of fraud.

The conditions are right for a free choice for Algerians, said the secretary General of the group Mohamed Zuaibi on Friday.

On January 25, Algeria’s largest Islamist group, the Movement of Society for Peace, announced it will not to participate in the April 17 polls.
