CAIRO: Conference Party representatives and officials have met in order to form an electoral coalition to run for the parliamentary elections.

Member of the executive bureau in the Salvation Front and deputy head of Conference Party, Mohamed Abdul Lateef revealed what took place in the meeting between officials and party representatives.

The coalition is to include  various parties such as “the Free Egyptians, the National Movement Party, and the Republican People Party” in addition to “the Egypt Is My Country Front,” according to Lateef.

Abdul Lateef told Youm7 that the founding parties of the coalition decided to postpone the announcement of the meeting results to meet the demand of Egypt Is My Country Front, headed by the former mufti Ali Gomaa, which preferred discussion before coalition.

Lateef added that the coalition will declare the results next Tuesday, signaling that he welcomes the rest of the political powers to join the coalition.
